One to One Personal Training
Who is it for?
Regardless of age, size, fitness or previous experience I cater for everyone. You can be a complete beginner or a professional sports person. I have experience in both these areas, as well as helping with self esteem and confidence.
What to expect
Once an initial consultation has been carried out, prior to the session itself, you will start with a warm up and dynamic stretching before focusing on the main elements of your training to help you reach your desired goals. This could be weight loss, building muscle, strength abs conditioning or just improving general fitness. In addition you could be preparing for a specific sporting competition which I could help you with. A warm down and stretch will follow.
Where are sessions held?
Currently one to one sessions are undertaken in a private studio in Sheerness, Kent. Sessions can also be carried out at home and outdoors (weather permitting).
Strength and conditioning
A strength and conditioning coach is a fitness and physical performance professional who uses exercise prescription specifically to improve performance. Strength coaches also help athletes and every day people with injury prevention and proper mechanics within their sports performances.
Focus pad drills, sparring, shadow boxing, core and ab work to help improve stamina, fitness which will also aids weight loss along with an improved sense of well-being.High intensity interval training (HIIT), is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.
A group exercise class mainly using focus pads using basic boxing techniques as a way of getting fit. It is a high intensity work out for the whole body. A great way to lose weight and tone up whilst improving your general fitness.
RPT’s own version of a complete body workout using bodyweight and/or a variety of equipment such as battle ropes, dumbbells, kettlebells etc. 20 Seconds of work 20 seconds, 8 x 5 minute rounds.
In case you didn’t know, nutrition will count for about 80% of your results. That’s right 80%. Whether you are a bodybuilder, a professional athlete or simply just exercising to improve your health, nutrition plays a key role in optimising the beneficial effects of physical activity. Making better decisions with your nutrition and hydration can result in improved performance, recovery and injury prevention, along with losing unwanted body fat in a safe and effective manner. Don’t waste your time spending fortunes on fad diets, shakes or pills that have no scientific evidence that they actually work. Use real food and enjoy your journey as well as your positive results. Embrace it but certainly don’t talk yourself out of it. You only have one body, so take good care of it.
21 day meal plan
This is a generic meal plan with shopping lists, cooking instructions and prep guidance. Meal plans range from 1400 to 2600 calories, depending on client requirements. These meals are easy to follow, taste & a value for money.
Tailored meal ideas/plans and advice
One to one consultation to discuss your nutrition needs and healthy eating options. This can be done face to face or via phone. Following the consultation (£25) a tailored meal plan/ideas to suit your needs will be complied.
